Letterbox Replacement Guide

Guidelines on how to replace your letterbox:

• Measure the Width & Height of your letterbox this will establish whether it is a 10" letterbox, 12" letterbox or Slimline letterbox. Compare your letterbox sizes to the additional images when purchasing. 

• Remove the fixing screws from both sides of your old letterbox (found underneath the flap) and remove letterbox. The outside part of the letterbox may be a little tougher to remove due to silicone being applied when originally fitted, use a putty knife to cut away the silicone. Measure the apperture of the hole where the old letterbox came from and check the size with the additional images and select the letterbox required.

• The existing hole on your door where your letterbox fits may need some manipulation to fit the new letterbox this is due to there being many makes and models of letterbox and there may be a slight size difference in the aperture where the sleeve of the letterbox fits into the door.
